Overview
In this role you will lead indirect procurement and supplier governance across DWF, driving value, cost savings and stronger controls. You will manage spend and supplier relationships across the UK and international offices, partnering with stakeholders to support commercial decisions. You will strengthen procurement policies, due diligence and third-party risk management, while driving process improvements and automation. This is a Manchester-based, hybrid role that offers impact across the CFO Office and beyond.

Responsibilities
- Lead indirect procurement strategy to drive value and commercial outcomes
- Manage indirect spend across IT, facilities, recruitment and professional services
- Develop category strategies, sourcing plans and tender processes
- Support supplier selection, negotiations and procurement decisions
- Drive supplier management, contract renewals and cost optimisation
- Maintain supplier governance and onboarding controls
- Oversee due diligence and third-party risk activities
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Finance to strengthen procurement policies
- Develop reporting and spend analysis to inform decisions
- Improve procurement processes, systems and automation
- Lead and develop the procurement team to maintain high service standards
Key requirements
- Experience leading indirect procurement in a complex, international business
- Background in professional services, legal, financial services or similar
- Proven ability to deliver savings and improve supplier arrangements
- Experience across IT, facilities, recruitment and professional services
- Knowledge of procurement governance, supplier controls and third-party risk
- Experience with AML, sanctions screening and supplier due diligence
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Confident negotiator with commercial awareness
- Ability to use data for decision-making and reporting
