Placement Broker Support (Spanish Speaking)

Overview

As Placement Broker Support, you will enable smooth placement activities for the Latin American market within Guy Carpenter’s collaborative team. You’ll liaise with brokers, clients and reinsurers while upholding regulatory standards and delivering exceptional service. This role offers international exposure and growth in the reinsurance field, with a strong focus on compliance and client onboarding. A clear language capability and cross‑border coordination are key to success.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client renewal reviews and contract drafting
• Manage full-cycle use of the GC Marketplace e-trading platform from market submission to reinsurer participation
• Prepare submissions, track placement status, and liaise with reinsurers
• Maintain core placement files ensuring compliance and regulatory standards
• Handle client onboarding and respond to information requests, including sanctions and AML policy adherence
• Collaborate across offices with Broking, Support and Service Teams; monitor business metrics

Key requirements

• Fluency in English and at least intermediate-level Spanish
• Experience in commercial insurance, reinsurance, broking, underwriting or related environment
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities
• Understanding of clients’ insurance programmes and service requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication; confident with stakeholders and negotiations
• Ability to build, manage and maintain professional relationships
