The role:
Providing engaging and supportive teaching across an SEN settingSupporting pupils with Autism, SLD and a range of additional needsAdapting lessons and activities to meet individual needsWorking closely with teaching assistants and the wider school teamCreating a positive, structured and inclusive learning environmentBeing flexible and responsive to the needs of the school
What we’re looking for:
QTS or relevant teaching experienceExperience working with children or young people with Autism and/or SLDA calm, patient and adaptable approachConfidence managing a busy SEN classroomStrong communication and teamwork skillsA genuine commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs
Flexibility is key, with supply opportunities available to suit your availability.
