We are seeking a dedicated vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver on behalf of our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership located in Newport. The vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver role offers a dynamic balance between parts sales and delivery responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking career progression within the automotive industry. The successful vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver will become part of a busy Parts Department, reporting to the Parts Manager, and working alongside three colleagues.

This vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver position delivers a starting salary of £26,500 per annum, with an uncapped bonus scheme designed to achieve annual earnings of £29,000 to £30,000. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with an hour for lunch, and no weekend work is required. Duties

  • Accurately identifying and selecting vehicle parts for customer orders
  • Promptly picking and supplying parts to workshop staff for vehicle repairs
  • Conducting parts stock control and stock audits
  • Dealing with trade and retail customers regarding parts inquiries
  • Managing daily delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries
  • Assisting with parts sales and providing support in the workshop

Requirements

  • Recent or current experience within the automotive industry
  • Familiarity with vehicle systems and parts operations preferred
  • IT literacy, specifically with electronic parts catalogues and dealer management systems (Pinnacle)
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Friendly, professional, and charismatic manner
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Motivation to develop within the automotive aftersales sector
