Quality Engineer

Overview

In this role you will provide quality support across the additive manufacturing operations and machinery, driving issue resolution and continuous improvement. You will work with operations, design and purchasing to address in-field and internal quality concerns, and support design reviews for engineering changes. You’ll analyze corrective actions to identify reliability issues and contribute to data-driven quality metrics. This is a multidisciplinary, technology-driven environment offering growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality support for customer complaints, CCAR reporting, risk management, and manufacturing activities.
• Support operations, design and purchasing to resolve quality issues from field escalations and internal concerns.
• Assist design meetings for engineering changes.
• Analyze performance from corrective action systems to identify product reliability issues.
• Provide quality data analysis for continuous improvement using corporate systems.
• Support Quality Engineering with KPI data and supporting information from reporting tools.
• Manage Corrective Action Systems and coordinate design review/product realization meetings to implement CAPAs.

Key requirements

• Working knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001.
• 3-5 years’ experience in engineering/manufacturing roles with a quality focus.
• Minimum of HNC in Engineering or relevant industry experience.
• Experience in project-controlled environments and engineering change activities, including New Product Introduction.
• Understanding of technical reports and drawings.
• Working knowledge of CAD platforms and Assembly BOMs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of FMEA and risk assessment tools.
• UK driving license (travel to UK sites).
