AI Platform Engineer

Overview

As AI Platform Engineer, you design and evolve engineering platforms to enable AI-native software delivery at scale. You’ll build reusable patterns, automation, and validation to improve productivity and software quality across teams. You partner with technical leads to tackle recurring engineering challenges and promote secure, scalable development. This role focuses on driving transformation through reusable platforms and developer enablement at VOIS.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain engineering platform capabilities for AI-native delivery at scale
• Develop reusable delivery controls, templates, pipelines, and automation
• Embed automated validation and secure defaults into workflows
• Build patterns supporting safe AI-assisted development
• Improve developer experience with streamlined workflows and self-service tooling
• Develop observability to measure productivity, quality and adoption
• Collaborate with Technical Leads and AI Software Engineers on platform solutions
• Enable responsible use of AI-generated code, testing, and documentation through automation
• Drive CI/CD improvements, automated testing, security scanning, and deployments
• Ensure platforms remain secure, scalable, and resilient
• Evaluate new AI engineering tools and recommend adoption
• Contribute to engineering standards, roadmaps and developer enablement initiatives

Key requirements

• 7+ years in software/ platform engineering or developer tooling
• Experience designing and operating developer platforms, CI/CD, and automation
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
• Experience building reusable platform capabilities
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and automation practices
• Knowledge of AI technologies, models, evaluation frameworks and automated validation tooling
• Understanding of token optimization and model selection considerations
• Strong observability, testing, and delivery tooling knowledge
• Knowledge of platform security, governance, and controls
• Strong programming, automation and problem-solving abilities
