Overview

In this role you will bridge Engineering and Game Product teams to turn technical needs into clear business value. You will own internal engineering product backlogs and help shape roadmaps for engineering initiatives. You’ll coordinate cross-functional delivery and define success metrics to drive continuous improvements. This is an opportunity to impact how engineering supports game development at a top mobile gaming publisher and work with diverse, cross-functional teams. You will work within Lion Studios, helping to scale tools and processes that enable world-class mobile experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering leads and game product managers to gather requirements and plan roadmaps for engineering initiatives
  • Own and maintain the backlog for internal engineering products and platforms
  • Facilitate communication between Engineering, Game Product, QA, Analytics, and other stakeholders
  • Translate business and technical needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and specifications
  • Coordinate feature development, timelines, releases, and stakeholder communications
  • Provide recommendations on priorities based on business value and engineering effort
  • Define success metrics and monitor product performance to drive improvements
  • Establish and maintain standards for requirements, documentation, release notes, and user guides
  • Facilitate roadmap reviews and cross-functional planning sessions
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal tools, workflows, and engineering processes

Key requirements

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience, preferably supporting technical products or engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern practices
  • Ability to discuss technical concepts (Unity, JavaScript, APIs, backend services, cloud, mobile apps, game development)
  • Ability to understand technical tradeoffs and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
