About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our friendly and dedicated team.
You will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive. You will work closely with colleagues and parents/carers to support each child’s individual needs and ensure they receive the highest standard of care and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to children aged (age range).
- Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Support children’s personal, social and emotional development.
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
- Observe, assess and record children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a supportive and professional team.
About You
- Qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent).
- Passionate about working with young children.
- Caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic.
- Able to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.
- Confident in supporting children’s learning and development.
- Knowledgeable about the EYFS and safeguarding.
- A positive team player with a professional approach.
