An opportunity to lead and grow a new in-house HVAC divisionnnnWe are a growing building services company looking for an experienced Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.nnnThis is not just another engineer role. We are looking for someone who wants to come in, take ownership, and help us build and grow our own internal air conditioning and HVAC division.nnnThe right person will have strong experience across both commercial HVAC systems and domestic air conditioning, with the ability to work on larger commercial plant such as AHUs, VRV/VRF systems, split systems, ducted systems, cassette units, ventilation systems and general AC/HVAC equipment.nnnAs our workload continues to grow, we want to bring this work in-house and build a reliable, professional team around the right person. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants stability, responsibility, long-term progression and the chance to play a key role in the future growth of the business.nnnThe RolennnYou will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding, repairs and installation work across a mixture of commercial and domestic sites.nnnThe work will include:nnn Servicing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning and HVAC systemsnn Working on commercial AHUs, VRV/VRF systems, splits, multi-splits, ducted and cassette systemsnn Domestic air conditioning installation, servicing and breakdownsnn Diagnosing faults and providing practical, cost-effective solutionsnn Supporting with site surveys, quotes and technical advicenn Liaising professionally with clients and the office teamnn Helping to shape how our in-house HVAC division operatesnn Supporting future recruitment, training and growth of the team as the division developsnnnFor the right person, this role can grow into a genuine leadership position within the company.nnnWhat We're Looking FornnnWe are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and confident working independently.nnnThe ideal candidate will have:nnn Strong experience in air conditioning and HVACnn Experience working on commercial systems, including larger plant and AHUsnn Domestic air conditioning experiencenn Good fault-finding and diagnostic skillsnn F-Gas qualificationnn A full UK driving licencenn A professional, customer-focused approachnn The ability to manage jobs from start to finishnn A positive attitude and pride in doing the job properlynnnPrevious experience supervising engineers, apprentices or subcontractors would be a bonus, but it is not essential.
