Overview

In this role you will lead and shape Fuse Energy’s procurement function across installations, EPC, and hardware manufacturing. You will build and guide a cross-functional team to secure the right suppliers, competitive terms, and strong governance, driving landed cost improvements. You will partner with projects and finance to align sourcing with the company build-out roadmap and growth. This is a high-impact role at a fast-growing, well-funded energy company, offering ownership and early responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own procurement strategy across all categories (installations, EPC, hardware manufacturing)
  • Lead and develop the global procurement team
  • Manage supplier strategy, segmentation, performance and relationship management
  • Set commercial terms, governance, contract standards, and spend controls
  • Deliver cost-out targets and value across third-party spend
  • Partner with installs, development/EPC, hardware/product and finance to align procurement with the build-out roadmap

Key requirements

  • Significant procurement/strategic sourcing/supply-chain leadership experience; ideally across capital projects/EPC, manufactured hardware, or field operations
  • Track record of building supplier bases and delivering material cost savings
  • Strong commercial and contract negotiation instincts with balance of cost, speed, and risk
  • Experience building a function from early-stage—process, team, systems
  • First-principles operator able to translate strategy to detailed procurement actions
  • Energy/renewables/construction hardware-supply-chain background is a strong advantage
