Overview
In this role you will lead the UK renewable installation operations, shaping the performance and reliability of our domestic solar, EV chargers, heat pumps, and battery systems. You will manage and develop the installation engineering team, uphold high quality and safety standards, and drive compliant, scalable deployment. You will collaborate cross-functionally on hardware and product specifications, while growing our accredited installer network. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the UK renewable installation operations and supervising engineers
- Act as primary technical authority for the domestic fleet and manage complex escalations
- Establish quality assurance frameworks, processes, and field audits
- Oversee onboarding, training, and monitoring programs for installing fleet
- Oversee domestic installations and commissioning across multiple techs ensuring UK regulations and MCS compliance
- Collaborate cross-functionally on development and rollout of next-generation hardware and product specs
- Own the renewable accreditation strategy, maintain MCS compliance, and expand/ audit installer network
- Foster a culture of technical excellence and safety across the engineering division
Key requirements
- Min 3–5 years of experience leading distributed electrical or renewable installation teams
- Fully qualified electrician with UK qualifications (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent) and Electrical Qualified Supervisor
- Experience with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of domestic Solar PV, EV chargers, and heat pump systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills with mentoring and high performance under tight timelines
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK electrical regulations, health and safety, and MCS compliance
