Overview
In this role you support the People Strategy across Care Groups, partnering with senior managers to shape workforce plans and HR initiatives. You’ll deliver expert HR guidance on complex issues and help foster a great place to work that underpins safe, high-quality patient care. You’ll work cross-functionally to drive change, workforce redesign, and staff engagement, contributing to the trust’s integration journey and organisational culture.

Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the People Strategy across Care Groups
- Provide high-quality, customer-focused HR advice on complex issues (change management, resourcing, workforce planning, employee experience)
- Use workforce data with service leads to develop strategies for a great place to work
- Manage organisational changes, consultations and workforce redesign
- Contribute to Care Group organisational design and engage with Staffside for employee relations
- Advise on recruitment and retention; support career events and strategies for hard-to-fill posts
- Collaborate with Marketing and Executive & Specialist recruitment teams to attract candidates
Key requirements
- relevant degree or equivalent qualification
- CIPD membership preferred
- thorough understanding of current employment legislation and HR best practices
- experience delivering HR advice in a large organisation (NHS/public sector desirable)
- ability to manage change and implement organisational strategies
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to travel across Trust sites; full UK driving licence; access to a vehicle with business insurance
