Overview
As an Associate Finance Business Partner, you will support strategic decision-making across Procurement, Fleet, and Finance. You’ll deliver insightful financial analysis, drive rebates and volume-based discounts, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to maximise savings. You will develop financial models, support budgeting and forecasting, and lead process improvement within a high-performing team. This role offers a chance to shape commercial decisions in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Procurement and Finance to maximise rebates and VBD opportunities across the Group
- Build relationships with stakeholders and provide financial insight for decision-making
- Attend stakeholder meetings and drive key business actions
- Collaborate across Corporate Centre functions to identify opportunities and deliver value
- Prepare variance analyses, risks and drivers; develop financial models and management presentations
- Support annual budgets, monthly forecasts and long-range planning
- Oversee month-end close, prepare reporting packs and management commentary
- Maintain rebate trackers, monitor timelines, and reconcile benefits
- Drive process improvement, standardisation and automation of financial processes
- Coach and align with offshore process development teams
Key requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong financial analysis and business partnering skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with large and complex data sets
- Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, proactive and solutions-focused
- Positive attitude; able to work independently and in a team
- Desirable: SAP and/or TM1
