Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of private clients with a focus on advisory needs
  • Act as the primary client contact to build strong, long-term relationships
  • Review and oversee self-assessment, IHT, CGT, and trust return preparation
  • Deliver bespoke tax planning including inheritance tax, estate planning, residency, domicile, and succession planning
  • Lead or contribute to advisory projects alongside partners
  • Supervise, support, and develop junior team members
  • Keep up-to-date with legislation and communicate changes to clients and internal teams

Key requirements

  • CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Significant private client tax experience in an accountancy practice
  • Strong knowledge of UK personal tax legislation
  • Ability to advise high-net-worth individuals and complex personal tax affairs
