Overview
In this role you drive catastrophe modelling activities across validation, change, and implementation, collaborating with Portfolio Analytics to translate impact into stakeholder insights. You will communicate model developments to underwriters and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver system and reporting enhancements. You own data standards, governance, and risk reporting, ensuring audit-ready documentation and timely regulatory responses. This position blends modelling, governance, and stakeholder engagement to support enterprise-wide risk management and transformation.
Responsibilities
- Support catastrophe model validation, change, and implementation with documented methodologies and outcomes
- Deliver model change impact analysis and translate findings for stakeholders
- Communicate model changes to underwriters with timelines and practical implications
- Translate business needs into functional requirements for system and reporting enhancements
- Own and maintain the RMSi data dictionary; promote data standards and governance
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards and related reporting
- Coordinate responses to Lloyd’s and regulatory information requests
- Document transitional processes, identify gaps/risks, and coordinate remediation across teams
- Support cross-functional change initiatives affecting modelling operations, reporting, and governance
- Contribute to ongoing priorities: Marine model validation testing, OASIS rollout, BOLT enhancements, merger integration of legacy Aspen and Sompo approaches
