Group Tax Manager

This role is based within the industrial and manufacturing sector.

Description

• Manage the group’s tax compliance, including corporate tax returns and VAT filings.
• Oversee tax reporting processes and ensure accurate submissions.
• Provide strategic advice on tax planning and risk management.
• Collaborate with external advisors on complex tax matters.
• Support internal teams with ad-hoc tax queries and training.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
• Ensure transfer pricing policies are applied consistently across the group.
• Prepare and present tax-related reports to senior stakeholders.

Profile

• A professional tax or accounting qualification, such as CTA, ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
• Experience handling corporate tax and VAT compliance.
• Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and reporting standards.
• The ability to manage complex tax planning and advisory projects.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external advisors.
• An analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Job Offer

• A salary between £80,000 and £90,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• A permanent position in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
