We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Main Contractor on a residential development in Fair Oak, Hampshire.

This is an initial 3-month contract, working as part of an established site team and reporting directly into the Project Manager.

You will take responsibility for a parcel consisting of two apartment blocks, managing the day-to-day site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of two residential apartment blocks

  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors and trades

  • Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team

  • Monitoring progress against programme and driving works forward

  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety

  • Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality standards

  • Carrying out site inspections and resolving issues as they arise

  • Coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors

  • Reporting on progress to the Project Manager

The Candidate

We are looking for a Site Manager with:

  • Previous Site Management experience on residential developments

  • Strong experience delivering apartment schemes

  • Main Contractor or residential developer experience

  • Good knowledge of construction processes and sequencing

  • Strong subcontractor management skills

  • A proactive approach to programme, quality and health & safety

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an established project team

  • Relevant Site Management qualifications/tickets
