Overview

In this role you provide legal support to Moneycorp’s UK business and international Group, focusing on corporate matters. You will oversee corporate finance, governance, and group structuring, collaborating with external counsel as needed. You’ll support board processes, contract governance, and equity-related matters, while contributing to transactions such as acquisitions and disposals. The position sits within the Group Legal function, aligned with Moneycorp’s growth and regulatory resilience. Responsibilities

  • Review and advise on financing arrangements, credit facilities, security documents, capital structuring and shareholder funding agreements
  • Manage Group corporate structure; support incorporations, dissolutions and reorganisations
  • Advise on regulatory compliance, statutory duties, and internal policies; draft board and shareholder resolutions; oversee accounts and confirmation statements filing
  • Prepare Board meetings packs, minutes, and ad-hoc tasks
  • Ensure Group standard contracts are suitable; review and negotiate contracts for Group functions
  • Manage the share scheme, advise on equity, buy-backs and related matters
  • Assist with corporate transactions such as acquisitions and disposals; instruct external counsel as needed
  • Support wider Group Legal work including commercial, regulatory and employment law; assist with Group insurance organization

Key requirements

  • UK-qualified solicitor with 4+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Experience in financing, corporate structure, M&A, debt facilities, banking, and corporate governance
  • Previous corporate legal experience
