Overview

In this role you will be a Veterinary Surgeon and Branch Lead for Filton (and 1–2 days at Patchway), guiding day-to-day branch operations while delivering high-quality small animal care. You’ll work with a supportive team to handle varied clinical cases, from routine surgery to consultations, and help shape practice protocols. You’ll lead branch activities, run meetings, and contribute to the clinic’s clinical culture and development. This opportunity offers a clear pathway into leadership and cross-branch collaboration within a trusted veterinary network.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day running of branches and leadership responsibilities
  • Manage a varied first opinion caseload with routine surgery and consults
  • Update and implement practice protocols and new processes to improve service

Key requirements

  • A veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility) with the RCVS
  • Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
