HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted – Days & Nights Available

£18.00ph PAYE | £27.00ph Overtime | Weekly Pay

The Best Connection is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for adhoc general haulage work based in New Mills.

We have days with nights out available, with flexible working options to suit drivers looking for regular shifts, nights out or tramping work.

Pay & Benefits

• £18.00 per hour PAYE
• £27.00 per hour after 8 hours
• Minimum 8 hours’ pay per shift
• Holiday pay accrued separately, NOT rolled into your hourly rate
• Weekly pay
• Days and nights available
• Flexible working schedules
• Nights out and tramping available
• £25 allowance per night out

The Role

Your duties will include:

• General haulage, including outbound and inbound loads
• Trailer swaps and shunting
• Moving palletised goods using curtain-side trailers
• Organising trailers around yards and depots
• Ensuring loads are transported safely and efficiently

What You’ll Need

• Valid Category C+E / HGV Class 1 Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Right to work in the UK
• National Insurance number
• Reliable and professional approach
