Overview
As a Payroll Bureau Pensions Administrator at Civica, you will manage pension-related activities across the payroll cycle for a portfolio of clients. You’ll ensure compliance with statutory requirements while delivering accurate, timely pension processing and strong service. You will act as the primary contact for customers, handling queries and maintaining high-quality relationships in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Own pension administration for allocated client payrolls from start to finish
- Maintain payroll bureau procedures and client-specific processing docs
- Handle day-to-day pension/payroll queries within service levels
- Calculate employee and employer pension contributions and make necessary adjustments
- Prepare and submit statutory pension returns accurately and on time
- Complete year-end activities and prior year updates for pensions
- Ensure compliance with pensions legislation, guidance, and best practices
- Support onboarding of new clients and changes to existing pension schemes
- Build strong client relationships through regular communication and service excellence
- Assist with external audits and compliance checks
- Support testing for system upgrades and service improvements
- Provide cover for colleagues during leave or absence
- Support customer contact lines and ad-hoc projects
- Maintain confidentiality and data security per legal and company requirements
