Overview

As a Product Manager, you will own the product vision and strategy while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and the client. You’ll translate user and business needs into a clear plan, balance policy/technology constraints, and lead services through GOV.UK Service Manual stages. You will promote Methods’ product management approach, share knowledge, and drive outcomes that matter for public-sector projects. This role combines hands-on product leadership with a focus on accessibility, data-driven decisions, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own and communicate the product vision and strategy
  • Develop a product strategy and artefacts to secure stakeholder buy-in
  • Assess policy and technology constraints and navigate them
  • Create user-centered digital services and champion user needs
  • Translate user and business needs into a clear product plan
  • Frame problems and set delivery priorities based on user needs and business goals
  • Lead services through lifecycle stages per GOV.UK Service Manual standards
  • Make evidence-based decisions using data to deliver value
  • Participate in the Product Community of Practice
  • Stay updated on trends in product management
