Overview

In this role you will contribute to the Analytical Development team by executing bioanalytical experiments and interpreting results to advance method development and pre-validation. You work on techniques such as SPR, flow cytometry, ELISA, and cell-based assays, aligning with quality and safety standards. You will maintain equipment, manage documentation, and support continuous improvement and new assay technologies. This on-site position emphasizes precise collaboration with study directors to deliver high-quality medicines. You help train junior staff and ensure reliable, customer-ready reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Execute experiments and critically analyse data for bioanalytical method development (SPR, flow cytometry, ELISA, cell-based methods)
  • Draft internal and customer-ready reports
  • Maintain equipment and manage laboratory operations including buffer preparation and safety actions
  • Support implementation of new assay technologies and continuous improvement projects
  • Contribute to technical investigations and root cause analyses (RCAs)
  • Maintain high-quality documentation in line with quality management systems
  • Train junior team members as required

Key requirements

  • Degree in Life Sciences or related discipline
  • Laboratory experience in analytical or bioanalytical techniques
  • Understanding of bioanalytical methods
  • Strong planning and organisation to deliver on time
