Overview

As Senior Business Development Representative at Speechmatics, you will drive pipeline growth across enterprise and mid‑market accounts for our differentiated API product. You’ll work with account executives to qualify and move opportunities, engaging senior stakeholders with tailored, data‑driven outreach. In a fast-scaling environment, you’ll leverage multi‑channel prospecting and AI-assisted account research to shape strategic deals. This is a key role in advancing our mission to understand every voice while scaling commercial impact.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage territory-wide pipeline
• Identify and target enterprise and mid‑market accounts
• Outbound prospecting via email, phone, and LinkedIn
• Qualify inbound/outbound leads to create opportunities
• Collaborate with Account Executives to advance opportunities
• Tailor messaging for technical and commercial stakeholders
• Use Salesforce, sequencing platforms, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to track activity
• Leverage AI tools to research accounts and personalize outreach

Key requirements

• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets with measurable impact
• Methodical, organized approach to territory management and pipeline building
• Comfort engaging both technical buyers (e.g., CTOs) and business leaders with tailored messaging
• Experience selling complex or intangible products such as APIs, platforms, or developer tools
• Ambitious, coachable, and motivated to grow into senior roles as the company scales
