Senior Consultant – Microsoft D365 Finance – TC – UKI

Overview

In this role you will drive delivery of the Finance workstream on Dynamics 365 projects, translating business needs into deployable D365 solutions. You will work within EY’s Microsoft Dynamics team to shape enterprise finance solutions across global client programs, leveraging the Power Platform and Azure DevOps. You’ll train end users, draft functional designs, and contribute to reusable assets while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client outcomes. This is a growth-focused opportunity at EY to work on multi-country rollouts and finance transformations that impact the organization’s financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discovery and requirement workshops
• Translate requirements into D365 solutions
• Perform Fit/Gap assessments
• Demonstrate product capabilities to clients
• Draft D365 process maps and functional specs
• Deliver Training (Train the Trainer/End User)
• Support finance modules in D365 (e.g., Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Taxation)
• Advise on Microsoft best practices and Azure DevOps during delivery
• Provide ongoing end-user support and liaise with Microsoft support
• Contribute to reusable assets such as templates and methodologies
• Understand D365 data migration framework and security configurations
• Collaborate with 3rd parties (exchange rate providers, tax authorities)
• Stakeholder management and collaboration with development/testing teams
• Mentor junior team members
• Structured problem-solving and on-time delivery
• Strong time management and communication for high-quality deliverables

Key requirements

• Experience in MS DYNAMICS 365 F&O implementations (Finance, Operations)
• AX/D365 implementation experience
• Strong client communication and workshop facilitation
• Articulation skills for workshops and meetings (PowerPoint)
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate
• Experience using Microsoft Business Process Catalogue on Azure DevOps
