Overview

In this role you support AI-enabled transformation in the public sector, helping clients translate AI potential into practical services and processes. You collaborate with government teams to design roadmaps, governance and operating models, and deliver tangible change. You’ll bridge AI capabilities with real-world delivery in complex public sector environments through demos, stakeholder engagement and analysis. This is an opportunity to shape practical AI adoption that delivers measurable public value.

Responsibilities

  • Process Reimagination: explore AI-enabled improvements to services and ways of working
  • AI Opportunity Identification: identify where AI drives value, assess feasibility and risk
  • Demo-Led Engagement: deliver hands-on demos and workshops to illustrate AI capabilities
  • Research & Insight Development: monitor GenAI tools and public sector trends, translate into actionable insights
  • Client Delivery: own high-quality deliverables including roadmaps, operating models, governance frameworks and transformation plans
  • Stakeholder Engagement: build trusted client relationships and run sessions to shape AI-enabled change
  • Best Practice Development: contribute to AI methodologies, playbooks and reusable assets
  • Business Development Support: assist proposals, thought leadership and client opportunities
  • Team Contribution: participate in internal AI initiatives and capability development

Key requirements

  • Consulting or government/public sector experience
  • Understanding of governance, information security, data privacy and operational delivery in government contexts
  • Strong interest in AI adoption with tools like Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or equivalents
  • Experience supporting tech-enabled change or transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to structure complex issues
  • Experience creating high-quality client-facing deliverables and workshop materials
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
  • Proactive learning mindset and curiosity about AI developments in public sector
  • Commitment to responsible AI use, governance, risk and ethics in AI adoption
