Overview

As Product Director for Experian’s Consumer Business (ECS), you will shape the product portfolio in a dynamic AI-driven market. You’ll partner with the CPCO to set strategy, lead a global product community, and drive revenue growth through innovative, value-led propositions. You’ll scale product development across India and the UK, aligning data, AI, and regulatory considerations to deliver best-in-class customer experiences. This role offers high visibility and a chance to influence how consumer journeys evolve across and beyond property.

Responsibilities

  • Shape ECS’s overall product strategy in response to AI-driven shifts and market competition
  • Define and lead product strategy and vision for ECS’s core portfolio, aligned to strategic goals
  • Own and deliver the 12–24 month product roadmap with proper resourcing and prioritisation
  • Scale value-led, goal-based propositions and diversify ECS’s product set into interconnected journeys
  • Drive ECS’s data and AI strategy for competitive advantage across the portfolio
  • Leverage consumer-permissioned data to personalise and convert moments across the portfolio
  • Lead evolution of Product Development across global teams to improve collaboration
  • Achieve strategic revenue targets through product innovation, pricing, and model evolution
  • Prioritise decisions balancing business needs, customer value, and regulatory requirements
  • Build and lead a high-performing product team with cross-functional partners
  • Set OKRs across core product domains for alignment across the ECS portfolio

Key requirements

  • Agile product development practitioner with deep understanding of product mechanics, tech stacks, and AI impact
  • Excellent, concise communication and ability to simplify complexity
  • Strong external focus with ability to influence regulatory bodies in the UK&I
  • Innovation evangelism with bold propositions driving growth and energising teams
  • Commercial strategist capable of pricing, commercial models, and market assessments
  • P&L management experience across a large, diverse product portfolio
  • Stakeholder management and senior leadership influence across a matrixed, multi-location organisation (India and UK)
