Overview

As Senior Regional Lead, Government Relations in London, you will shape Lime’s public affairs strategy in a key global market. You build strong relationships with local government bodies, transport authorities, and community partners to support policy and regulatory objectives. You will work cross-functionally to align operations, campaigns, and stakeholder concerns with Lime’s business goals. This role offers impact at scale, contributing to London’s mobility policy landscape and Lime’s mission of affordable, carbon-free transport. You thrive in a fast-paced, policy-centric environment and drive practical outcomes across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with London boroughs, Transport for London, and London City Hall.
  • Collaborate with Operations to plan local campaigns that advance business outcomes for Lime.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to issues raised by political stakeholders.
  • Assist in planning for policy and regulatory changes, including city-wide regulations in London.
  • Engage with transport partners and third-sector organizations to ensure Lime is a responsible partner and identify collaboration opportunities.
  • Contribute to process improvements and scalable ways of working as the company grows.

Key requirements

  • 5+ years in public/government affairs, political campaigns, or related government-facing work
  • Experience designing and implementing public affairs strategies aligned with business goals
  • Excellent internal and external communication and stakeholder relations
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a global, remote-enabled environment
  • Experience in an operational setting with stakeholder management
  • Interest in and understanding of data to drive process improvement
  • Proactive, independent work style with multiple priorities and fast delivery
  • Strong understanding of UK / London politics, policy, and regulation
  • Passion for mobility / sustainability / active travel / new technologies
  • Willingness to travel frequently within London and lead visits
