Overview
In this role you lead the international R2R function, ensuring timely closes and accurate reporting across regions. You will standardise policies, controls, and processes while driving automation and system improvements. You’ll partner with Finance, IT and operational teams to deliver high-quality data for consolidation, donor reporting and regulatory compliance. This is a mission-driven, collaborative position in a global not-for-profit setting with a strong focus on process improvement and audit readiness.

Responsibilities
- Lead global R2R operations with timely month-, quarter-, and year-end closes.
- Maintain GL integrity through reconciliations, journals, accruals and high-quality documentation across regions.
- Oversee statutory reporting, audits and regulatory compliance in all jurisdictions.
- Provide high-quality financial data for consolidation, reporting and donor requirements.
- Oversee global taxation, statutory submissions and payroll processes with clear ownership.
- Drive standardisation of R2R policies, controls, SOPs and close frameworks; strengthen internal controls.
- Lead automation and workflow improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency and audit readiness.
- Develop and support a dispersed R2R team, collaborating with Finance, FP&A, IT and operations to improve systems and processes.
Key requirements
- End-to-end R2R experience in global or multi-regional environments.
- Ability to enhance reporting processes, strengthen controls and drive automation.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed finance teams.
- ERP finance modules experience and strong MS Office skills.
- Strong analytical ability and data interpretation for improvements.
- Effective communication with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience in international, not-for-profit or donor-funded environments is advantageous.
