Overview

In this Finance Team Lead role, you will guide a small, high‑performing team within AVEVA’s Record to Report function, ensuring accurate financial records and timely close. You’ll collaborate with regional stakeholders to optimise service delivery and drive continuous improvement across processes. You’ll shape risk-aware controls and standardised practices while supporting AVEVA’s transition to a subscription-based business. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 10, setting objectives and monitoring performance
• Coordinate workload to support customer service across regions and time zones
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and resolve issues with improvement plans
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to embed best practices and efficiencies
• Oversee R2R processes with standardised, documented procedures and KPI-driven delivery
• Ensure compliance with policy and legal requirements and minimise risk
• Maintain integrity of financial records and escalate deviations
• Process general ledger activities, including fixed assets, journals, reconciliations, period-end close (accruals, revenue recognition, reporting), and bank activities
• Provide financial, regulatory and tax information timely and efficiently
• Interact with key stakeholders (Regional Process Owner, Finance teams, Commercial/Sales, Internal Audit, Service Management)
• Support and contribute to the broader finance function and AVEVA’s strategic priorities
