Overview

In this role you partner with business leaders across EMEA to provide commercially focused legal guidance that accelerates growth while protecting the organisation from risk. You will lead the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts, translate complex technical requirements into enforceable agreements, and support cross-functional teams with pragmatic, risk-aware solutions. You’ll contribute to ongoing digitalization and strategic initiatives, including emerging technologies like AI. This remote UK-based position sits within the global legal team and offers a broad, impact-driven scope.

Responsibilities

  • Lead review, drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts across Pall BUs in EMEA (sales, service, EPC, distribution, maintenance, development, technology license, manufacturing, procurement)
  • Provide legal advisory and risk management, balancing risk with business objectives
  • Deliver training and communications to business units and manage changes to agreements/processes
  • Support contract review policy adherence and enablement of Legal Reviewers
  • Assist Senior Counsel EMEA with claims, litigation, and strategic projects, including AI-related opportunities and digitalization
  • Drive legal process improvements, templates, and training materials to improve efficiency and compliance

Key requirements

  • Qualified to practice law in the UK
  • Proven experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Significant in-house legal experience in a multinational/complex business
  • Strong commercial law expertise with risk assessment and commercial strategy
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to advise senior leaders
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive process improvements
