Civils with land development clients who build what you design

Overview

As a Civil Engineer, you will lead infrastructure design for live developments. You’ll deliver drainage design, SuDS and highway layouts that progress to adoption and completion. You’ll work on schemes across Hertfordshire, London and the South East, collaborating with a focused team to move projects from planning to built outcomes. This role offers hands-on delivery on real-build schemes and the chance to influence adoption and approvals at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design for drainage, SuDS and highways on own developments
• Manage Section 104 and 278 agreements and related negotiations with authorities
• Prepare technical approvals and coordinate with stakeholders to secure schemes
• Oversee earthworks design and related infrastructure for residential/mixed-use schemes
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure delivery from planning to completion
• Support and mentor junior engineers as team grows

Key requirements

• civil engineering design experience in a consultancy or developer environment
