Data Architect

Overview

In this role you will shape data and AI transformations for clients by defining robust data blueprints and architecture for complex programs. You will design end-to-end data platforms covering ingestion, governance, security, cost-optimisation and observability, while communicating with clients to translate needs into scalable solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership of delivery will be central, with opportunities to influence best practices and drive client outcomes. Responsibilities

• Define the data blueprint and architecture for complex client programs
• Design end-to-end data platforms including ingestion, governance, security, cost-optimisation and observability
• Architect scalable, secure data solutions across multi-cloud and data warehousing/lake environments
• Lead client-facing engagements and translate business requirements into technical deliverables
• Lead and mentor engineering teams; drive end-to-end assignment delivery
• Contribute to bid leadership and business growth through opportunity identification
• Foster thought leadership and promote best practices within the team
• Collaborate with product, design and other cross-functional teams to deliver transformative digital solutions

Key requirements

• Hands-on data background with experience leading engineering teams
• Clear understanding of data architecture and delivery methodologies
• Experience across data domain with awareness of AI impact on solutions
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Certifications in relevant methodologies and cloud technologies are advantageous
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and leading vendors (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake)
