Senior Reinsurance Political Violence Broker

Overview

In this role you will drive political violence and terrorism reinsurance programs for a global client base. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to structure and place facultative business in Lloyd’s and London markets, while growing relationships across UK, Middle East, LATAM and Africa. You will represent the company at client meetings and industry events, contributing to complex international risk placements with a results-driven mindset. Responsibilities

• Produce and develop new political violence and terrorism reinsurance business across UK, Middle East, LATAM, and African territories
• Manage and grow existing client relationships, delivering tailored solutions and best-in-class service
• Successfully place international risks into the Lloyd’s and London markets
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, underwriters, and clients to structure complex reinsurance programmes
• Represent the company at client meetings, market presentations, and industry events, with travel as required

Key requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in reinsurance broking, with a strong focus on facultative (FAC) placements
• Proven expertise in political violence and terrorism lines of business
• Established network within the Lloyd’s and London markets
• A driven self-starter with excellent client management and communication skills
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally
