Overview
In this role, you support the employee lifecycle and employee relations for a fast-growing fintech as it scales internationally. You’ll blend hands-on ER advisory with strategic People work, partnering with managers and senior stakeholders to improve processes and policies. You will help drive a faster, more consistent experience for a growing team using AI and automation. This is a hands-on, impact-oriented role in a high-growth environment with cross-border exposure.

Responsibilities
- Own probation, absence management, and support performance processes
- Lead on family leave and flexible working requests
- Provide tier-2 advisory support beyond self-serve tools and identify opportunities to improve bots
- Support organisational change and scale People initiatives, leveraging AI/automation
- Assist onboarding, policy and benefits for US and MX populations as we expand
- Partner with the People Partnering team on hands-on strategic initiatives
- Spot patterns and provide insights to improve policy, process, and coaching
Key requirements
- 3-5 years of HR advisory experience
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and lifecycle management (US knowledge a plus)
- Confidence engaging with managers and senior stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and ability to balance business and people needs
- Autonomy and ability to plan and prioritise multiple focuses
- Genuine interest in applying AI to improve People processes
- Ambition to grow quickly in a high-growth environment
