Overview
In this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will support primary pupils with additional needs across Rotherham and Doncaster schools. You will work 1:1 and in small groups to implement personalised learning and behaviour strategies, collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to foster engagement and positive learning outcomes. You help create a safe, inclusive environment and contribute to pupils’ progress within a nurturing school setting. The position offers flexible opportunities, ongoing CPD, and potential for long-term roles in a mission-driven education context.

Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN

- Collaborate with class teachers and SENCOs to tailor support

Key requirements
- Experience working with children with SEN in schools or relevant settings
- Knowledge of Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language needs or other additional needs is advantageous
