Overview

As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between customers and the workshop, delivering outstanding care and clear guidance on servicing. You’ll keep customers informed at every stage, answer questions, and liaise with technicians to ensure vehicles are ready on time. You will offer expert product and service advice, building rapport with customers in a busy, high-standard environment. This role includes flexible patterns (often weekends) and strong training opportunities to progression within the Sytner network.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer care and act as the liaison between customers and the workshop
• inform and consult on vehicle servicing and updates at every stage
• liaise with technicians/workshop control about vehicle statuses
• advise customers on products and services to meet their needs
• build genuine rapport with customers and identify their requirements
• work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with high service standards
• adapt to flexible patterns including weekends to ensure service quality
• support learning and development through in-house training and manufacturer courses

Key requirements

• customer service background beneficial
• excellent organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
• ability to communicate effectively with customers and workshop team
• willingness to learn and progress; training provided
• working knowledge of Kerridge advantageous but not essential
