Overview
In this Chief Technology Officer role, you will own the technology and product roadmap for a global, listed fintech client. You will lead a large engineering and TechOps organisation across London and offshore, reporting to the CEO and engaging with the Board. You’ll shape engineering practices, drive product blueprints with Solutions Architects, and align development with business goals in a B2B, product-based environment. You’ll work closely with Product, Delivery Management, and Support to accelerate delivery and drive innovation. This is a high-impact opportunity to scale technology and influence strategic direction in a fast-growing fintech.

Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a 70-person engineering and QA team across London and India
- Report to the CEO and liaise with the Board on technology strategy and progress
- Plan and implement engineering practices across development, testing, and architecture
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects to define new product blueprints
- Improve output by organising plans, development methods, and standards
- Work closely with Product, Delivery Management and Support on new development and ongoing support
Key requirements
- Experience running a large engineering team
- Experience in a B2B or product-based firm
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology
- Experience in cloud-based development
