a {}tr th, tr td {}tr th {}We’re currently partnering with a well-established and highly respected civil and structural engineering consultancy in Nottingham to recruit an experienced Associate Civil Engineer.This is a key strategic hire, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to step into a leadership role within a growing business, helping to shape project delivery, mentor teams, and contribute to ongoing business development.RoleAs an Associate Civil Engineer, you will take responsibility for leading the delivery of civil engineering projects across a range of sectors, whilst supporting the senior leadership team in managing client relationships and driving the continued growth of the business.You will play a pivotal role in both technical delivery and team development.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects (including drainage, highways, and infrastructure)Manage projects from feasibility through to constructionOversee and review technical work produced by the teamAct as a key point of contact for clients and external stakeholdersSupport the management and mentoring of junior engineers and techniciansContribute to business development activities, including winning new workEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standardAbout youDegree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related disciplineChartered Engineer (CEng) or close to achieving chartership (ICE preferred)Strong background in UK-based civil infrastructure designProven experience delivering drainage and highways schemes (S38, S278, S104 etc.)Experience with relevant software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage / InfoDrainageStrong leadership and project management skillsCommercial awareness and experience managing client relationshipsWhat’s on offerCompetitive salary and senior-level benefits packageFlexible and hybrid working optionsClear progression route to senior leadership levelOpportunity to play a key role in shaping a growing regional teamVaried and technically interesting project work…
