Overview
In this role you will be the trusted first line contact for colleagues and suppliers, handling queries and escalations to safeguard service quality and data integrity. You will support procurement processes, P2P activity, and access governance, contributing to continuous improvements in operations and customer experience. Working with cross‑functional teams, you’ll produce service metrics and enable timely issue resolution. Responsibilities
- Act as first line contact for supplier and colleague queries with strong service focus
- Resolve day-to-day data and process issues ensuring policy alignment
- Assess issues independently and escalate complex matters
- Maintain data accuracy and support organisational data integrity
- Support procurement processes including P2P, catalogues, sourcing, contract management, SRM
- Assist with access governance processes and maintain audit trails
- Contribute to service metrics, dashboards and reporting
- Coordinate testing and UAT for fixes and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide training on new service functionality and process changes
- Support supplier onboarding and invoicing queries with Finance
- Assist in issue management and knowledge capture for faster resolution
Key requirements
- Experience providing customer or operational support
- Experience with business processes, data quality and operational workflows
- Experience supporting procurement processes or e‑procurement systems (P2P, sourcing)
- Ability to analyse information and escalate appropriately
- Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders and suppliers
- Strong customer service mindset and professional enquiry handling
- Experience with data collection/cleansing/analytics and dashboards for procurement insights
- Understanding of procurement policy/regulatory context (e.g., Public Contracts Regulations 2015)
