Overview
In this role you drive compliance across Hilton Seafood’s supply chains, aligning with the Hilton Seafood Standard and legal requirements. You lead the rollout of value-adding Technical IT systems (Foods Connected) across two sites, with training and competency packages. You serve as the go-to contact for supplier conformance and approvals, and oversee Raw Materials teams and risk-based assessment processes. You travel as needed and act as SME for Foods Connected to support cross-functional teams, audits, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Coach Production teams on Food Safety and Legality and assess training effectiveness with auditable records
- Coach QA/RMQA teams on food safety/legality and document training outcomes with risk assessments
- Act as SME for Foods Connected and support Buying, Technical, Packaging and NPD teams
- On-board new suppliers and maintain auditable standards across Foods Connected
- Ensure robust risk assessment processes for new ingredients and supplier changes
- Conduct horizon scanning for threats and communicate risks to stakeholders
- Link risk management to VACCP plan and CSR/ethics/authenticity controls
- Audit supply bases to develop suppliers and cover site-wide risk assessments
- Deputise for European Technical Director Seafood during absences
- Promote health and safety culture and travel as required
Key requirements
- Proven track record in leading and developing teams and acting as SME
- Experience with supplier scorecards and supplier management systems
- Experience with major retailers and strong integrity reputation
- Ability to manage multiple projects across geographies and time zones
