As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer, you will install smart meters in domestic properties and deliver a professional, customer-focused service. You join a nationwide engineering team supporting energy and metering contracts, while maintaining safety and compliance standards. The role offers strong earning potential with structured pay options and clear progression. You will help ensure reliable meter installations and represent Orion with professionalism and safety-conscious practice.

Responsibilities

• Install smart meters safely and efficiently in domestic properties
• Provide professional, customer-focused service
• Ensure all work complies with industry safety standards
• Represent Orion as part of a nationwide engineering team

Key requirements

• Smart Meter Engineering qualification or diploma
• CMA1 or CCN1 & MET1
• MOCOPA certification (or completed during induction)
• Full UK driving licence
• Clean DBS check (recent within 3 months preferred)
• EUSR card (advantageous, not essential)
