Residential Property Solicitor

Overview

In this role you join a long-established Essex practice to manage a wide range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion. You will handle sales, purchases, and complex transactions like new builds, remortgages, and Help to Buy, while maintaining direct client contact. You’ll work with colleagues across the firm to deliver quality service and build lasting client relationships. Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
• Manage freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, including new build transactions
• Oversee remortgages and transfers of equity; manage shared ownership and Help to Buy transactions
• Maintain direct client contact and build strong relationships
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver quality service

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 4 years PQE
• Solid experience handling a varied caseload of residential property transactions
• Excellent communication and client-focused approach
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to market and develop new business
