Senior Associate – Family – Bath

Overview

In this role you will manage a varied, privately funded family caseload in Bath, focusing on financial remedy and private children matters. You will work with a Partner and cross-office fee earners, with opportunities to supervise junior lawyers and develop your own practice. The role includes targeted business development and a clear pathway to Partnership within a collaborative, high-regard Private Client team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of privately funded family matters, including financial remedy and private children work
• Supervise and develop junior lawyers within the team
• Take over existing Bath casefiles and help grow the Bath family offering
• Plan and deliver targeted business development activities
• Collaborate with Partners and fee earners across offices
• Support cross-department collaboration within Private Client division
• Work towards progression with a pathway to Partnership

Key requirements

• Demonstrable expertise in financial remedy and private children law
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
• Confidence in developing and growing own practice
• Strong track record of business development within family law
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
