Mental Health Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Develop daily living skills for residents.
• Prepare and cook meals.
• Manage appointments and medication.
• Handle budgeting and household tasks.
• Support residents in accessing education, employment, and community activities.
• Build confidence and independence.
• Support emotional wellbeing and recovery.
• Provide personal care support when required (training will be provided).

Qualifications & Experience

• Level 2/3 Health & Social Care qualification or experience in care, support work, or mental health services.
• Experience supporting a family member, friend or individual with additional needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Two satisfactory references covering the last three years.
• Ability to complete an enhanced DBS check (paid for by us).
