Overview
In this Product Owner role, you will translate strategy into a value-driven product roadmap and manage delivery across a designated value stream. You’ll act as the interface between business, technology, and customer experience to ensure outcomes align with strategic goals. The position emphasizes stakeholder engagement, agile delivery, and continuous improvement to maximise business value. It’s a hands-on, cross-functional role that shapes products and drives measurable results within a collaborative, change-led environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a clear product vision aligned with value stream goals
- Translate customer and stakeholder needs into a compelling, actionable product roadmap
- Engage with business stakeholders, customers, and technical teams to elicit priorities
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Prioritise incidents and health activities against value stream capacity
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
- Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimise value
- Incorporate customer feedback to drive product improvements and innovation
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and promote agile practices across the team
Key requirements
- Proven experience as Product Owner or similar (ideally in insurance/financial services)
- Strong understanding of value streams and their business application
- Expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with SAFe
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities focused on value delivery
