Employment Partner / Senior Employment Lawyer
Location: Midlands | Hybrid/Flexible Working
A leading Midlands law firm is looking to strengthen its Employment offering with the appointment of an experienced Employment Partner or senior Employment lawyer.
This is an opportunity for an established Employment specialist to join a well-regarded practice and play a meaningful role in the continued development of the department.
The firm is open-minded on the level of appointment and would be interested in speaking with current Partners, Legal Directors, Senior Associates and experienced Employment Solicitors who are looking for their next step.
The opportunity:
Join an established and growing Employment practice with a strong client base. Take a senior role with genuine scope to influence the future direction of the team. Advise a broad range of businesses and employers on both contentious and non-contentious Employment matters. Develop and strengthen existing client relationships while contributing to further business development. Opportunity to take on leadership responsibility and build a team around you. Work within a collaborative, commercially focused private practice environment. Flexible/hybrid working arrangements available. Attractive remuneration package, reflecting experience, seniority and following. The ideal candidate:
Experienced Employment Solicitor with a strong track record in private practice. Ideally 8+ years’ PQE, although the firm is more interested in quality and experience than a strict PQE requirement. Strong technical capability across contentious and/or non-contentious Employment work. Commercially minded and confident dealing directly with senior stakeholders and business owners. Able to demonstrate strong client relationships and, ideally, an existing network or following. Someone who wants to play a genuine role in growing a practice rather than simply inheriting a caseload. Why consider it?
This is deliberately a broad opportunity for the right person. The firm is prepared to have a conversation around level, structure and long-term progression, making it potentially attractive to an established Partner as well as a senior Employment lawyer who feels ready for the next step.
