Overview
In this role, you lead a team of Solutions Architects to drive successful cloud adoption and AI enablement for Global Banks. You’ll partner with sales to shape strategic solutions, mentor architects, and advocate AWS capabilities at executive levels. You guide cross-team collaboration to design, migrate, and modernize customer environments while scaling knowledge through publications and speaking engagements. This is a chance to influence how large banks realize business value from the cloud and AI at scale.

Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, train, and develop Solutions Architects
- Coach architects to work with financial services customers
- Drive success in building, migrating, and modernizing applications on AWS
- Educate executives on AWS value and lead deep architectural discussions
- Capture and share best practices within the SA community and customer teams
- Act as technical liaison between customers, service teams, and support
- Deliver cloud and AI solutions that achieve business outcomes
- Partner with specialist/service teams to develop solutions
- Mentor teams to become AI-conscious leaders and publish learnings
Key requirements
- 5+ years people management of technical, enterprise-facing resources
- 5+ years infrastructure and database architecture and networking experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience architecting/operating cloud solutions across providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
