Independent Children’s Rights Advocate – Secure Estate

Barnardo’s is recruiting a Children’s Rights and Advocacy Worker – Project Worker 2 for the Oakhill Secure Training Centre. The role supports children aged 12–18 in custody, delivering independent advocacy to help access rights, safeguarding, and resettlement, and to maintain family contact where possible.

The post is part-time (33 hours per week), based on site with occasional remote training, and involves lone working within a highly structured secure environment.
