We need aBranch Managerfor our branch inShepherds Bush, London.

This role is a3-month secondmentopportunityworkingfull-time,35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday.

You’llneed to be within a 45-minute commute of the branchyou’reapplying to work in, andhere’sthe good news. Whilst major banks continue to close branches,we’rekeeping ours open. Nationwide’s commitment to the High Street means we now have the UK’s largest network, with over 600 branches. Your training will be basedvirtually inbranch.

Our training pathway is designed to ensure you are successful in your role, and the first 3 weeks arereally importantto your career journey with us.With this in mind, withinthose first few weeks, we ask that no holiday is taken.

Working on the branch floor alongside your team,you’llmake sure they are fully trained and performing at their best.

You’llhave the confidence to managea high levelof customer expectations and have an in-depth knowledge of all our products and services.You’llalsobe responsible forcreating and implementing your branches business plan.

Our branches are always busy, soyou’llhave to be organised and able to work quickly while still giving the best service.You’llhave the support of your management team to help with training and guidance.

You’llalso need to be able to use our computer systems and processes. Butdon’tworry,we’lltrain you to do that.

About you

As a minimumrequirementyou’llbe able to take control of your branch and lead your people, whilst meetingFCAstandards and delivering top notch customer service and creating positive outcomes.

You will have experience of managing people and working in a busy retail environment. Leading by example; with a commercial understanding and knowledge of financial regulations and processes. You will be able tomonitorand explore branch activity to spot opportunities and make your customers better off.

By being resilient,versatileand flexible you will be able to prioritise effectively and deal with ever-changing requests.

It would be nice if you also hadpreviousexperience as a branch manager in a retail environment.
